THE MIXED-UP APP IS HERE!

We are proud to announce that Mixed-Up Productions is the first DJ company in the area to offer it’s clients and guests a FREE APP! This project has been in the works for quite some time and we think the final product is perfect! We really hope you enjoy some of these exclusive features available right now for your event. Below you will see some screenshots and details for some of the most important features.

MAKE A REQUEST

If your guests download our app before or during the event they can make requests right from there seats. We know sometimes some of the guests are shy and don’t want to come up to our table so this feature should help them feel better. You would just sign in and submit your request on our wall. It’s that simple.

VOICE NOTES

Let’s say you are in the car and you hear a song you want played at the wedding. Now, open up our app and record us a quick note and hit send! This is perfect if you have ideas and you don’t want to loose them. Record, save, send, that’s it.

FIND US AND YOUR VENUE

If you are trying to find us a bridal show, we’ve got them listed with directions. Need to find other wedding professionals? We got them listed and their addresses to help guide you to their store. What about your guests? Tell them to download our app and search for the venue in this feature. Doing this will give your guests proper guidance from their current location directly to your wedding destination!

PHOTO BOOTH

While the party is happening guests can take pictures all night long and submit them to our photo gallery. This gallery can be shared to everyone.

UPDATES

Whenever we add a new package, lighting option, feature, etc you will know about it here first! Keep up to date with this feature on our app.

SAVINGS

Throughout the rest of this year we will offer special savings and deals on some of our products. We will also offer some exclusive deals while attending bridal shows. Utilize the QR code at events to save even more!

NOTEBOOK

During our meetings or whenever you need a handy notepad we’ve got you covered. Take notes, jot ideas down, etc.

To Busy To Meet In Person? No Problem….

You get off of work at 4pm, your fiance works until 6pm and we need to meet today! So how do we make this happen? Bride Live is the way to go and we’ve got it ready to go.

We understand it’s tough to get everyone together for meetings. So why don’t we set up an online meeting where you can sit at home on your couch together and we can be at home or work, and have a live video web chat meeting?! Bride Live is a great way for us to meet at anytime and anywhere.

If you live out of the area, your fiance is on a business trip, or it was just a long day and you don’t wanna drive then let us know and we can meet online in seconds. If you have a webcam on your computer then you are all set. We can set up an appointment on any date at anytime and all you have to do is click on the link provided in your email and the web chat session will open and our meeting is under way!

Another great feature with this program is we can show you pictures, videos, contracts and more while meeting. It’s just another way we try to help make things easier for you during your wedding planning.

You would’ve thought it was Grammy night at our house last weekend! Everyone was around the tv waiting for twelve noon when Dream Weddings would come on the air featuring one of our couples from 2011. Brittany and Mike were such a great couple to work with and their creativity was inspiring. We worked with some amazing vendors that day and you can see how it all came together with the complete episode below. A special thank you to Martine at Dream Weddings and Derek at Lavon Films. Lascellese & Ashley Riley

After working with Lascellese and Ashley they made it very clear they wanted a party that their guests were gonna love. They held the ceremony and reception at the beautiful Cork Factory Hotel in Lancaster. This venue is one of our favorites because of the atmosphere. There are a lot of options for creative decorating there. They went with Weddings By JDK for floral and decor and as always, it was stunning. Mr & Mrs Riley also booked one of our preferred photographers Krisha Martzall. As for our services, we covered sound for their ceremony and reception, uplighting, monogram lighting, and our photo booth! Everything about this night was just fun and exciting. Thank you so much for letting us be apart of your special day. We hope you and your guests had a blast like we did!

You know it’s a crazy party when there’s a pinata!! Jeremy and Marissa celebrated their day at the Inn at Leola Village in Lancaster and we were there to help with the ceremony and reception. From the great food to the non stop dancing, this is one wedding we will all talk about for years!

AACA Wedding Show and West Shore Country Club Show

WOW. What an amazing show at the AACA Museum in Hershey. Melissa and her staff go above and beyond to make sure this is a show all brides will love. This year, we were apart of a VIP experience with Weddings By JDK and it was perfect. After months and months of preparation and days of setting up it all came together perfect. We also need to thank Leslie Gilbert Photography for snapping some incredible photos for us!

When we do a bridal show we want to make sure you (as the bride) get a good visual to what our set up could look like at your wedding. We debut our newest add on and the response was great! It’s our new TV Booth. We are so excited to be the first DJ company in Central PA to offer this package to our brides. Basically, we can project a slideshow of you and your fiance growing up or photos from your engagement session, baby videos, etc all night long on that TV. Your guests can stop and enjoy the show at anytime during the evening. We will also customize the color of the booth to match your wedding colors.

On Sunday 02/26 we were apart of the Premiere Bride Magazine Bridal Show at the West Shore Country Club and it was wonderful. We work with the WSCC all the time and they are one of the best venue’s in the area! We had a chance to show off the new TV Booth and Photo Booth at this show and they both were a hit. We hope that everyone that stopped by had a great time.

Fun. Amazing. Awesome. That’s how we can sum up this wedding. Danielle and Bob both said that they just want to make sure everyone has a great time. Funny that they requested that because that is exactly what we plan on doing at every event. Their guests were just a blast and everyone had a great time.

Not only did we provide our DJ service but we also provided the Mixed-Up Photo Booth, monogram light, uplighting and under the stars.

This is the time of the year where some boyfriends all around the world get down on one knee and say those 4 special words “Will You Marry Me?” Once she wipes the tears away, says yes, calls everyone she knows and posts the ring picture on Facebook….it’s time to get down to business! Planning a wedding can be stressful, hectic, fun, challenging or all of the above. To make the next couples months of your engagement stress free please do yourself a favor and book true wedding professionals. We can’t stress this enough.

When you start to look for your venue, photographer, flowers, dress, DJ , etc….do your research. Take the time to look into each category and really pay attention to what others are saying about the vendors you are looking into. A wedding professional’s website should cover all details needed to help make your decision. It should look refreshing, stand out, provide details and information about packages, pictures, videos, contact info and more! Look at who you are booking and ask yourself do you feel comfortable trusting this professional with your wedding. As a wedding professional, we get married 365 days a year! You only get married once so let us help guide you with suggestions and ideas to help make your wedding dreams come true.

So where do you start? Who do you look at first? Well that’s something you and your fiance need to discuss. What’s the most important to you? If entertainment is really important, book the dj first! Weddings, Weddings And More Weddings!

Wow, what an amazing wedding season. It’s been awhile since we updated this blog and I apologize for the delay. We’ve been out and about every single weekend with weddings and parties and are trying to catch up now on videos to share! We’ve seen a lot of amazing weddings in the past couple weeks and can’t thank our clients enough for choosing Mixed-Up Productions as their entertainment.

This is about the time of the year things usually slow down with weddings but not this year! We go straight into the new year with weddings every weekend until 2012. I’m going to say now that our new years resolution is to updated this blog weekly!
